Non-hosted Travel Options

In partnership with various lodges, guides and outfitters across the globe Steelhead Flyfisher has booking access to fishing programs on some of the world's best waters for sea-run fish. Inquire anytime for expert advice, travel details and to arrange an unforgettable trip. Our specialization in travel to renowned anadromous-fish destinations means our clients receive a high level of personalized service and attention to the details that matter most. Our partners and associates include:

Nicholas Dean Outdoors / Lower Skeena Region
Spring, summer and fall seasons for steelhead and salmon in the lower Skeena Valley and surrounding region. Aside from our six annual hosted weeks, we can arrange fishing in non-hosted weeks.

Salmon Junkies / Chilean Patagonia
New and hot! Valley of the Kings Chinook program at Austral River Lodge on the coast of Patagonian Chile.

Camp Ekaluk / Ekaluk River
Giant sea-run Arctic char, among the largest on the planet, in a crystal clear river. Possibly the most prolific fishery available for large sea-run fish on a swung fly. An angler's dream. Nunavut, Canada.

The Fly Shop / Argentine Patagonia + Russian Kamchatka
Various programs including giant Rio Grande sea trout in Tierra del Fuego, Jurassic rainbows at Lago Strobel, and steelheading for science at the Kamchatka Steelhead Project in far eastern Russia.

Norwegian Flyfisher's Club / Gaula River
Excellent experience on the Gaula River, one of Norway's top Atlantic salmon producers. 24-hour fishing. Beautiful lodge with modern touches. The big fish DNA is still there and the fish of a lifetime is only a cast away.

Salmon Lodge / Grand Cascapedia River
Classic angling in the "grand old style" on the granddaddy of Quebec's famous salmon rivers.

Tres Amigos / Santa Cruz River
On the new frontier — Atlantic steelhead in Argentine Patagonia. A huge river with big fish and these guys are figureing it out.

Kimsquit Bay Lodge / Dean River
World famous, highly athletic summer steelhead and chinook at Kimsquit Bay Lodge in BC. Stunning scenery on the central BC coast.

Suskeena Lodge / Sustut River
Some of the very best steelhead fly water in the upper Skeena watershed is on the Sustut River and the gracious owners at Suskeena Lodge have a wonderful program.

Copper Bay Lodge / Haida Gwaii
Off-the-grid winter steelhead fishing on Haida Gwaii. A remarkable experience and intriguing Northern Hemisphere option for the winter months.

Renton's River Adventures / Oregon + Prince of Wales AK
Well-run steelhead trips in Oregon on the North Umpqua in winter and summer, the Deschutes in fall, and spring steelheading on Prince of Wales Island in Alaska. Wonderful family-run operation.

Steelhead on the Spey / Northern California
Northern California steelhead on the Trinity/Klamath in fall and on the Eel and Smith in winter.

Daxfly / Olympic Peninsula
Winter and spring rainforest steelhead on Washington's iconic OP. Like the trees here, they grow big.

Confluence Outfitters / Southern Oregon
Far away from West Coast population centers, Southern Oregon offers an attractive variety of relatively secluded rivers and streams for winter steelhead.
