Olympic Peninsula | Winter Steelhead

with host Jeff Bright

The "OP" is home to the only temperate rain forest in North America — and some of the continent's largest trout and salmon. Originating on the flanks of Mount Olympus and running through this biologically rich landscape are several of the finest steelhead rivers in the Pacific Northwest. Anglers from all over the world are drawn here to experience the peninsula's primordial beauty and fish its legendary rivers for a chance at the steelhead of a lifetime. Stunning scenery, easy wading, amazing fly water, and the biggest winter steelhead in the world are here for those willing to make the journey. • • • The program is run by experienced guide Dax Messett, an excellent spey casting instructor, savvy steelheader, skilled boatman, as well as all around super fishy dude. Included is comfortable accommodations and delicious meals in a cozy cabin on the banks of the Sol Duc.
